Tempe was created in 1989 to design, manufacture and distribute shoes for all the stores that make up Inditex’s eight business formats: Zara, Pull and Bear, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Stradivarius, Oysho, Zara Home and Uterqüe. Tempe is currently capable of producing more than 33 millions pairs of shoes each year.

Its first shoe collection was launched in the children's section of Zara stores in 1990. Since then product lines have increased and are stocked in all eight chains.

Tempe has mirrored Inditex's global expansion, gradually adapting to progress and growth. A shared philosophy has helped the company achieve numerous successes: creativity, design and a flexible response to market demands. Tempe continues to supply all the shoes for Inditex's 4000 stores worldwide.
