More sustainable and innovative raw materials, reduced emissions and efficient resource management are some of the goals we share wit Inditex. Our teams work to reach circularity in the entire management process, promoting the use of raw materials and more sustainable processes.
At Tempe we have a global supply chain that maintains very close relationships with suppliers and manufacturers, promoting their development in parallel with our own.
All of our suppliers must comply with Inditex standards on the protection of human rights and the promotion of international labour standards, product health and safety and environmental standards, which are among the strictest in the sector.
We work with more than 350 manufacturers worldwide, chosen with a clear objective in mind: supplying our business in a more sustainable and responsible way. That’s why we work to ensure that our footwear is created using more sustainable raw materials in an efficient life cycle inspired in the principles of the circular economy.
We align with Inditex’s strategy of reuse and recycling and join the projects for collecting used footwear in stores, collaborating with social organisations in order to give a second life to our footwear.
We have the most prestigious energy efficiency certificates for our facilities, and together with Inditex, we participate in projects to reduce emissions in our footwear distribution network and logistical activities.
We have a close relationship for collaboration with non-profit organisations linked to our activity. This collaboration allows Tempe to sustain permanent dialogue with and be close to the community.
